Christine S. Eatmon founded Eatmon Law Firm, PC in May 2009 in Wake Forest, NC — close to home and close to the community she wanted to serve. After years as a paralegal and then an associate at a large Raleigh firm, Christine made a deliberate choice: build a smaller practice where every client receives direct, personal attention from a senior attorney.
Tamara W. Brooks joined the firm to bring that same commitment to a broader range of family law clients. Together, Christine and Tamara handle every aspect of their clients' cases personally — from the first consultation through final resolution.
Our practice is intentionally small. We do not take on more cases than we can handle with full attention. That means when you call, your attorney answers. When you have a question, you get a direct response — not a message relayed through a legal assistant.

Christine S. Eatmon
Christine took a less traditional path to law — Marine Corps service, years as a paralegal, a business degree earned at night as a single mother, and finally a law degree from Campbell University in 2005. She founded Eatmon Law Firm, PC in 2009 to build the kind of practice she always believed in: small, personal, and deeply invested in every client's outcome.
Christine is one of fewer than 4% of North Carolina attorneys who hold the NC Board Certification in Family Law. She is also a DRC Certified Family Financial Mediator, a Certified Parenting Coordinator, and a volunteer Guardian Ad Litem for children in Franklin and Granville Counties.

Tamara W. Brooks
Tamara — known to clients and colleagues as Tam — came to family law through years of experience as a paralegal on the North Carolina coast, followed by law school at Mississippi College School of Law. She relocated to Wake County in 2012 and has focused her practice on family law ever since.
Tamara is licensed in North Carolina and admitted to practice in the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a DRC Certified Family Financial Mediator and a Certified Parenting Coordinator. She also serves as a part-time instructor in the Duke Paralegal Studies Program.
